State of the Muse

So. Interesting background information was provided in the most recent episode, and while most of it is okay, there's one thing that I (and the Muse) have issues with. Since I have a ranty demon in my head, I'll let him tell you in his own words:
All right, yes, if you must know, I did sell my soul for that reason. Bloody hell, humans've sold their souls for less for centuries. Well, more of them recently, but that's beside the point. And yes, I did my duty and fathered a child. Gavin, the world's most sullen boy. The whole experience reminded me why I do not favour the fairer sex, and the less said about the whole matter, the better.
But.
BUT.
YOU DON'T GET TO BE THE BLOODY KING OF THE CROSSROADS AS A 349-YEAR-OLD WET BEHIND THE EARS PUP! Bloody hell, do you writers even know how to count? You don't get to be that powerful or that highly placed as a little demon CHILD! Even that bint Ruby was over 600! Do you honestly believe that you earn a group of powerful demons at your beck and call, and control over a pack of Hellhounds after less than a millennium?
Bloody hell, I need a drink. Oh -- that part, they got right. I much prefer high end single malts to Bobby's rotgut. Besides, I don't trust him not to use holy water in the distillation... *ickface*
OOC: Yes, there's that whole matter of the King of Hell stuff. Interesting, and maybe outside of the game I'll use that, but in-game? NO. He has no desire AT ALL for that title. He's smart enough to know how much work goes into it and he's already having to watch his back at every turn. He's NOT going to take that on, as well! Andras doesn't have to worry at all about a coup.
So, all other arguments aside (yes, I've heard them, and I still don't agree with the timeline. You can't work your way up AND sell sin to saints for centuries in only three and a half of them), in game, Crowley is older than the show says. Folks can tease him about other matters, but him being the baby of the demon family (other than the Deans) is right out.
ETA: I wonder if they meant Craigellachie. I haven't been able to find a "Craig" distillery in Scotland...
